The Infamous Digifant 1 XDF

Post by Housey »

Hi there.

i've got some idiotic problems with my DF tuning.

First off. the XDF file. i can't seem to find one that works.

i've got 2 of them

TunerPro RT v5 - G60 3 Ignition Map - Marc G60T
G60_SingleMapRev10

however. i can't get any usefull info from these files when loading the BIN.

scales look off. content is not readable etc.

how come this has to be so effing difficult?

Some hardware info:

Digifant 1 ECU (G60 EURO)
TunerPro RT (reg)
Moates Ostrich 2.0 Emulator
Grautec Adapter

how do you identify if you got a 3map chip? and how does it switch and what makes it switch? and why does it switch?

Any help is appreciated.

or is there other software out there which makes tuning the DF1 easier?

I can probably help some, but I need to know some information. First of all can you post the ECU numbers from the ECU label. You mention Euro ECU, which I believe is a 38 pin ECU much like the California ECU. The XDF's you are mentioning are for the 25 pin ECU that is an older version. Also, I would need you to send me a copy of the binary from your ECU. Ideally a picture of the ECU label information and the plug area as well. You can send it to donstarr"at" shaw.ca. Once I get this info I will see what I can do for you.

Also, I need a copy of the G60SingleMapRev10 to check some things.

why does everyone use a grautec?
my ostrich works fine without any grautec adapter. even with the marc g60 xdf

one the other hand, you might have the 'old' bin with only one ignition-map
no way with marc's xdf

you shouldn't use the old; the new since ECU 'DP' are much better progged
with best regards
