I bought a BMW e28, M535i, Euro engine with CR10:1, Motronic 1.0
My original DME crashed, so I decided to switch to Motronic 1.3 179 DME, from an e32/e34
After bought all parts, it took about 2 days to install everything.
Now it's Motronic 1.3, 179 DME, 1267356460 software, Lambda sensor, working with my stoc 10:1 CR M30b34 engine.
Everything was ok, but because 179 DME was programmed to work with 9:1 CR Engine, I heard some detonations, most at low RPM and high loads.
Bought a chip from Conny (Coneus) probably some of you know him.
Was an improvement, redline 6700, much smoother acceleration, 3500-4000 lug disappeared,
but anyway I could hear detonations under some conditions.
Also AFR at low load at 800 RPM was 22 it was pinging hard!

So I decided to find the xdf and to try to make improvements on my own.
Couldn't find the xdf, and I made myself based on another 179 DME xdf.

added fuel (~13.5 AFR), to make it run with less vibrations.
And it's better now.
Now trying to play with ignition.
Engine start with 9, with 18, but not with 16
Can't understand why.
The address of Idle Ignition I found is 5378
Am I right?

I've tried to combine and adopt the 061 fuel and timing maps to 179 maps.
It runs well but it remembered me the old Motronic 1.0, with a not very linear acceleration.
