Plugin problem

Post by Biggvl »

Hi all,

Im having problems with a plugin not appearing in tunerpro. I made this short video to help show my problem.

http://youtu.be/-HqKX4ZTpdU

I have the latest version of both tunerpro and the plugin which is from the pcmhacking site (I have a thread on this problem over there) I have windows seven, I' ve checked the NTFS permissions, etc.... At a loss, any ideas?

My guess is that you don't have the C++ runtime DLLs necessary to run it. Can you link me to the plug-in that you downloaded? I'll look.

The plug-in downloaded directly from that link appears to load correctly on my machine using a bone-stock TunerPro RT installation. It appears to require the MSVCR100.dll that you already have in the plug-in directory, so you should be good, there.

I'm not sure what would cause this that's unique to your computer.

You might try downloading and (re-)installing the VS2010 runtime:

Here's SP1: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=8328

Here's the base runtime:

Thanks Mark, that allowed me to see and select that in the drop down :D

Won't allow me to set the comm port setting when in 'configure plugin'

Correct me if Im wrong but this is a PCMhacking issue?

Cheers, Gareth

Yes, that's implemented in the plug-in itself. My guess is that it auto-detects the port.
