moates not working

Hi Has anyone had trouble with ostrich not being recognised by tuner pro.
Only used it once and now it won't work.It seems they are not built to last can someone help me please not looking forward to buying another if they only last 6 months.

the drivers are up to date on your machine?

does it recognize the hardware when you plug the ostrich 2.0?

I did a check on the computer and it said that the unit that is installed is working.when I the emulator tester on tuner pro it says no unit connected to the computer.tuner pro doesnt see the unit and says hardware not connected,dont understand was all working when i put it back in the box.
