-copy/paste for rows and columns
-a table import/export to an excel spreadsheet

tied in with above, say you are transferring table data with a different scale or re-scaling the table, something that will interpolate from the old table into the new one with the new scale. for example if the scale is (10, 20, 30, 40) and you are transferring a table in its place that has a scale (20, 30, 45) when you import it it will figure out and fill in/rescale the table from the old data. I know this is a long shot but we can dream right ?
