Buell datalogging

Post by aaronja77 »

I am running a NGK Powerdex WB controller on my 09 Buell. This has a 0v-5v analogue output that I am running through a toggle switch to pin 1 and pin 33 on my ecm. This is so I can switch between datalogging rear and front.

I am logging the rear and it is coming through as AFR2. At idle it is showing a value of 87. What does this value represent as I am looking for a value in the 9-16 AFR range? Does there need to be a conversion equation done in the ADX value for AFR2?

Thanks
Aaron

I'm not sure if this is correct for Buell but it is the equation used for WBO2 0 to 5 volt in other adx files.

Hi

Would the x 0.039063 be the conversion to volts?

I know that the conversion from volts to AFR is V x 1.4 + 9. This gives the unit a range of 0-5v = 9-16AFR.

Cheers

I don't know? There's a math wiz at link in my sig named greg78scam that helps us understand some of these conversions.

This was in the equation of the Advanced $OD adx written by 93V8S10 for WBO2 AFR by using the 0 to 5 volt pintle EGR signal through ECM. kinda what your doing in your adx. It also had a note:
0v= 10.0 AFR, 5v= 20.0 AFR
Input on pin B16

attached is a small screen shot of one of our Access database sheets I compile things from. this is a basic sheet but it shows a pattern you may want as info. We have every ecm and every data byte so anything can be added to the adx and XDF if needed... note page one data is omitted in the Read write for a safety measure.

Cheers Mike.

I can see how to export the datalog but is there a way to export, amend the log and then import?

When datalogging, I am getting blips in the readings which I want to filter out as these will distort my history table and subsequent fuel map changes.
