Bring back an old feature?

I liked the ability to drag XDF items to new locations within the XDF. This made organizing the items easier than it is now.

Any way to bring this back?

As it is, I have to copy and paste the item into the new location, then delete the original. This is alright, if I can't remember what I just copied, especially after scrolling through the item lists. This may not seem difficult, but when there are multiple parameters with very similar names it's easy to second guess yourself on which one you just copied and pasted.

I would also be happy with a cut option.

It's there. Change the tree view mode to "ordered list." Then drag and drop at your pleasure.

That should work for what I want to do.

What is the difference in the different view selections?
