Hooking up to a ford ECC 4, 5 ECU

Post by benk »

Just wondering what equipment I need to hook up and tune the Ford ECC-IV & ECC-V ECU?
I have been using TP 5 to tune the Delco computers and I see on the TP website that TP 5 can be used on the Fords
I haven't been able to find any posts on what gear is needed to be able to use TP 5 and if it's posible yet.

Thanks Ben

yes you can tune most of the eec4 with a j3 chip available in australia via tiperformance.com.au

the def files and bin files are also located on the site , you can also purchase the burner required to program the j3 chip from there as they are not compatible with moates j3 chips

if you already have the moates burn 2 then you can purchase the chips via moates and program the chips with the f3 j3 adaptor with the tuner pro software

hope that helps
