GM30/33 logging

Post by blazer406 »

Anyone here with GM30/33 logging experience? Robert Saar was generous enough to provide me with an ADS for my 89 Toronado but i'm having problems logging correctly. In tunerpro V4 I just see the error counts climb with no data logged, with V5 I see data, but stuff is scrambled, almost like the values are rolling because the stream has a few bits more or a few bits less than the now converted adx def has. I am going to try disconnecting the BCM tonight and switching to a non GM30 .bin just to see if the regular 5B2 ads can log correctly (to eliminate cable/computer/ecm issues).

I also should mention that during an attempted log session, I occasionally get a quick SES light, but it goes right back off almost as quickly as it comes on.

Ideas/suggestions?

Thanks,
Matt
