Too much info in the ADS file?

Post by Doward »

I'm working on a '302 (86-'89 2.8L MAF) ADS file, so we V6 guys can actually do some real datalogging, and all is good - until now -

I've got 2 copies of my .ads file... as I was adding the ALDL bits, TP RT (latest) crashed out on me, and will not re-open. I reverted back to an older copy of my 302.ads file, and it works great - for some reason, adding all the bit information crashes it?

I've got a copy of each - the working one, and the crashing one - where can I upload it, or can I email them to you to look at?

Please do email them. (See the email link below my post).

If TunerPro crashes and continues to crash on startup, delete the TunerProSettings.dat file. That clears all the last-file tracking, which is likely causing the persistent crash.

I don't see the email address... PM sent...

Be aware - deleting that tunerprosettings.dat DID fix the problem with crash upon startup - TP RT wants to crash whenever I attempt to load the ADS file.

I saw in another post that the e-mail button was in "steath mode"

Hey Mark, I see the flurry of little issues and feel your pain of a new release. We are all grateful for the great advances you've come up with.
Keep it fun, and try to sleep sometimes :D

Yeah, stealth mode. I just didn't know (because I can see it as the admin).

Oh well, I'll stick to what I know best. :--D
