There are several separate process involved. The ability to Read the programming from the ECU / ECM / PCM is one. The ability to Write the programming into the ECU is another. The ability to Edit the programming from the ECU is yet another.

The first step is to Read the programming from the ECU, and then save it as a binary (*.bin) file. The BIN file that you saved will have a specific operating system. To be able to edit this BIN file, you must also have a corresponding XDF file. An XDF file is a "roadmap" of the parameters within the operating system, that have been discovered, and made editable.

To edit a BIN using TunerPro: Open TunerPro, open the BIN file, and then select (open) the corresponding XDF file. Editable parameters should now appear.

You cannot convert a BIN file into an XDF file - they are different things.

If no one has created an XDF file for your specific operating system, then there is no way to edit it using TunerPro.
