Help Exporting BLM values to table.

Post by Rally Smith »

I can export the BLM Values into Excel using .CSV, but it only shows up in columns and rows. I can't get it to appear in chart form with Rpm vs. KPA.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

The best way to do it read aldl with v5 or scannerpro and a history table.
You can make a history table for spark, int, knock ín v5 or scanner pro
The history table for blm looks like ve table with blm instead of ve%.

The new tunerpro rt v5 have all that you need in 1 program

O.k, I did not have Version 5 of Tuner Pro. I have spoken with Mark and now have updated to the most recent version. I got it downloaded and have the instructions to do so. If you are reading this with the same problem then you need to have at least the Beta Version 5. And then, once you have the new version downloaded.

** Edit the definition on the acquisition menu.
Add item (under histogram)
Name it and give the unique ID a name too.
Set "Z" to be the BLM value.

Enter number of rows in your VE table and label accordingly.
Set the related item to "Y" = RPM

Enter number of columns in your VE table and label accordingly.
Set the related item to "X" = MAP Kpa

Save.

I will give you a good hint on this...
When making your table view, add an extra row for RPM where your two VE table overlap (namely the 1600 RPM row in $8D as an example)
The data can "stack up" on you in those cells when the RPM is out of range of that particular table yielding the average reading of all cells that are out of range.
To ensure you get good data for the 1600 RPM row add a row of 1700 RPM for the lower table and add a 1200 RPM row for the upper table.
You'll see what I mean once you populate some data in there.

You can also just make one large table and cut paste out the sections you want. I just found it nice to scale it exactly how the VE table is and then make an auto correction spreadsheet I can paste into.

Thanks to everyone to help on this question.

O.k. I spoke to soon. I did as the above explains and it will not work.
Every time I fill out the charts and try to fill in the output object (Z) I get a an error occurred. Do you want send an error report? I have tried several different things and checked the HELP menu but it does not explain it at all.

I'm in the middle of this with Mark and he said that he will fix this problem in the next update hopefully this week sometime. So time will tell. Thanks for the help though. I will update this thread when I get it fixed.
