$8f aldl problems

I am able to send the bin file to the autoprom verify ok but load the ads file <89-90 LG5 3100 Turbo.ads> and set emulation too autoprom and the vertical switch is all the way up and the horizontal switch is twards the center , hit the connect button and it says connecting then aldl not connected??

any help would be great

also i cannot connect to the car with the aldl connector using the autoprom, the bin uploads and verifys but aldl will not connect, ecm is a 16197409 using a bin and xdf from a $8f 3.1l turbo 2bar setup. the car is a 3.4l motor that has been turboed, so using the bin from the 3.1l turbo car using the 2bar map
