How to chage degrees C to F and a question about MAT?

Post by mike_350_TPI »

I have just started using tuner pro RT on my 1992 camaro TPI and so far it has been great. It was super easy to set up and I was monitoring data with the dash in less than 10min.

Can someone let me know how to change to degrees F.

Also, another question... I determined that my manifold air temp is 142 F after the engine coolant is up to about 195 F. Does anyone know if 142 is too high? I have the MAP set up with the K/N air filter on the throttle body.

Thanks

F = C * 9/5 + 32

Cheers,
Dave

edit: I should say that '*' is multiply, '/' is divide ....ie; F = Cx9/5 + 32

Thanks..... Now how do I change it in the program..

Thanks. I know about the conversion equation, but was hoping there was a way to change it in the program. On the screenshots of the program, it shows the temperature in F, so I was thininking there must be a setting that I have set to C.

Hello all
Just found this topic regarding the displayed temperature within Tuner Pro and wonder if it can be changed?
I would like degree C to used/displayed instead of degrees F, so can it be changed in a set up menu????

Yes, it can be changed, as indicated above.

You have to edit the ADS/ADX directly to change the displayed units.

yep, edit ADS/ADX. when i make them i include C and F in mine...

usually for GM car, the equation for F is X*1.35-40 and C is X*.70-40

C might be *.75... i can never remember it.
