Bank and Ostrich

Post by Ty1295 »

Had some issues when using anything other than bank 0.

Wouldn't take updates, car would die, run like poo, etc.

Do you have the appropriate firmware version to support it? I've tested this extensively on the bench, though not lately.

Yes, updated to 10.9 awhile back.

Even tested it on Pauls ty when I was there visiting, worked great there.

I can upload a bin to a bank and it seems to work ok.

It is when you try changine anything while on that bank.

Alright, I just did a bunch of experiments on the test bench (thanks Paul!) and the bank switching and bank emulation seems to be working just fine. No ECM hiccups on upload or switching or emulation changes. No SES, no nothin'.

Perhaps your mask or ECM is particularly sensitive? You said it worked on Paul's Typhoon?

OK, I just found a bug that might have manifested itself in such a way that you thought it was the bank switching.

The bug is this: if you edit more than 10 cells in a table, I upload the entire table to the emulator rather than just the 10 edited cells. Unfortunately, I wasn't uploading the correct data to the table.

OUCH!

This is fixed. It's critical enough that I'll probably release a build tonight.

That is probably it.

Since you added the editing by selected region I started to highlight areas, and multiply those sections.(great new feature) Probably more than 10 places.

Then that really was likely it. Try with the new build.
