Saving ALDL information

Post by Ty1295 »

Having an issue with latest version not saving, when adding lookup tables, or changing anything in general with ALDL.

Loaded older version, and it worked. Reloaded new version, and it reads the change ADS file, but still can't make changes in new version.

Just updated this computer few minutes ago same thing.

Looks like the record button is broken also, to record runs.

I have fixed the issue with the record button and record functionality in the latest build (use the internet update feature), but I can edit ALDL information and save to file without issue. Please confirm.

Just downloaded latest on this computer also. (I think I have 5+ computers I move between in life now)

Same thing.

Opened ALDL panel, did edit, went to the 749 ads Paul and I have worked on, opened up Target AFR, added Unit Label "AFR"

Hit save and close.

No change on dash.

Go back into edit, look at unit label, nothing.

Had same problems when adding a lookup table for a WB sensor for local guy.

Had to go back to older 4.0 version to add lookup table.

A side note, the lookup tables can be a great way to add for the various WB outputs, just let the WB spit out raw data and convert it in tunerpro.

Ah. You said nothing about the dash in your original email. That's something different entirely. I'll take a look.

Sorry about that.

I just tried to add a new lookup table again with newest build.

Then go into (for example) target AFR bit, and force it to use the lookup table.

In drop downs, the new lookup table I added doesn't show up.

OK, I think I've fixed all of this stuff. Get the latest build (make sure after updating that the build number is 2619).

Thanks, seems to be working now.

Another MINOR one I saw though.

If you change dash readout on one of the squares to something else.

Then go back into ALDL edit, close edit come back.

Dash is changed back.

Quit program, reload fixes it though.

Again Mark this program is awesome. All the new features, and having aldl and tuning in one kicks ass.

I downloaded the fix and can now change and save. Thank You. I do have one problem still though. When I hit the record button it says sampling and the number of samples goes up like ususal, Then when I stop the recording and add the notes, I hit the play and it goes to -6 samples and does nothing. I even tried to play back other files/runs I have played back before and it does the same thing. Is there something wrong with the settings on my end?

Thanks

I just took a couple of test logs on the bench and it works. I did notice that in the setup window -6 is shown for the sample number, but the log seems to play back OK nonetheless.

Can you zip up the problematic log and email it to me?

I will try. I am not to good at zipping things up and sending them over the net. Just haven't quite figured that one out yet. I have tried to play back other runs I recorded on earlier versions and it still shows the same. I will see if I can send you one. What is the email I shoudl send it to?

Hey Mark, I dont think use low end guys are seeing your email button.

Anyways, did some more playing today. Overall things are good.

Few little issues.

Randomly the top right dash value would change background color to black and blue.

Also, had 1 time the record button was dimmed after about 3 recordings. Closed tunerpro, reopened things back to normal.

Hmm. I can think of zero reason why this would occur. The code that changes the background of the gauges color doesn't get touched anywhere in TunerPro outside of the gauge code itself! I wonder if anyone else has seen this.

About the email addr - yup, turns out I'm hiding it.
