is this cable ok to use w/ $EE?

this is the cable i have http://www.aldlcable.com/sc/details.asp?item=aldlobd2 and its on com 1, i just cant get it to connect.any ideas?

did you set up the port in the tools, preferences, data acq./emulation tab? have it on the right port?

in order to do a test from there you'd have to connect 12V and gnd to the pins in the plug, since it gets its power from the aldl connector.

its connecting to tunercats on com 1 ok,. my ignition switch did go out on me,so ive been trying to figure that out b4 i can get back to it.
