$8F datalogging issues /w autoprom

I've had some ongoing issues trying to datalog my car. I am running the $8F code on a 7730ecm.


The issue I have is getting the autoprom to connect in autoprom mode. It will only connect to the ecm in the "passthrough" mode and this is useless if you want to emulate and datalog at the same time. Now this was using tunerpro v4, so I contacted Mark and he told me to wait for V5.

Well v5 is here, and now it will not connect in ANY mode. However, if I put an $A1 bin in the ecm, I can connect and communicate no problem whatsoever. So this is not a wiring issue.

I have imported 3 different ads files into v5, and tried connecting with numerous different settings and switch configurations, with no success.

I remember reading about others having this problem somewhere as well, but I cannot remember where now.

Any help would be appreciated.
