Is it O.k. to have over 100% VE?
I have been adjusting my BLM values to bring them to the 128. If I get a 144 in an area then multiply the value that is currently in that cell (lets say it's 89.5) by 1.13 it gives me 101.14 to plug into that cell to make up the difference. Is this o.k. or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
R.S.

Its the injector flow rate.
If its bone stock its not the way to do it(somthing is wrong).
If you look at your bin it has parameters that involves egr more spark and less fuel( up to 10% off fuel reduction and 3 deg more spark on my bin)
fuel eco..
You need to turn off the egr to get blm at 128.
Look at your pameters and try to learn howe it works is the best way to do it.

More often than not, high blm's are sometimes indicative of a vacuum leak. Might want to look into that also.Rally Smith wrote:I have been adjusting my BLM values to bring them to the 128. high BLMs due to a vacuum leak only apply to a MAF car(since it wouldn't be able to detect the extra air being sucked in)... the MAP sensor measures manifold vacuum, and a vacuum leak would just cause less vacuum and in turn, deliver more fuel(assuming in your VE table less vacuum(higher kPa) has a higher VE(which it should).

If it is the Advanced $0D v175.xdf from moates net.
To disable EGR its the =Minimum Speed for EGR (set it to 255 mph).
Were do you have the wideband lamda nere the cars lamda.
Exhaust leak???
I dont think your map is bad.
If the egr have an airleak you have bad idle.?
WB 11-12 afr at throttel ?
BLM at 144 what afr on wb at same map and rpm?
I belive it more the settings in the prom.

Well I changed the EGR to the 255. I data logged on my way home tonight and don't see a difference in the BLM Cells at all. The wideband O2 is set for 14.7:1. I don't have an exhaust leak to the best of my knowledge. I don't have a bad idle either. The W/B afr at throttle question I don't understand...
When I play back my data log it doesn't show my W/B O2 readings for some reason. Any idea on that too?

(Did that)
Exhaust leak???
(How would a exhaust leak cause problems? I would like to understand. My truck still has factory exhaust manifolds and Y pipe so I would guess that it does have some sort of leak where they connect.)
WB 11-12 afr at throttel ?
( Any position) Another question is the A/F Ratio supposed to be constantly moving around?

(Checking on this)

A leak nere or before lamnda can draw in air and its lying to the ecm.
Where do you have WB lamnda close to cars nb lamnda?
