94 Chevy Pickup Ext. Cab 350

Post by jmoss1999 »

I have a 94 Chevrolet Pickup extended cab with a 350. I tried the $0D file and it did not work. Could someone point me in the direction of the correct file. Also another crazy question, how could I go by making the truck shift correctly without the fuel injection manifold on it?
Thanks,
Jeff

Are you trying to read aldl more info on it?

If you have a 4l60e or 4l80e the ecm reads map, tps, rpm and speed to
shift gears

Yes it has one of those transmissions in it, I have not had a chance to see which one. I would like to be able to read aldl, is there a specific way to tell which ecm I have? Sorry for all the newbie questions but thanks for the replies.

I have a homemade 2 transistor aldl cable. The 0d file you sent works great on my 94 gmc sb with a 4.3l in it. I tried the same file on the 94 chevy ext. cab though and it showed up "garbage" mostly. It showed like 1c47 in the prom id and stuff. So im guessing it has a different ecm in it. I will check behind the glove box today and find the ecm so I can pull the numbers off it and post back. Thanks for the help.
