1227749 ALDL Data bug(s)

Post by anesthes »

Hello,

Did some scanning last night with Tunerpro. Bug or no bug, nice stuff!

BUG #1: Injector Base Pulse Width displays a decimal point off.
For example: 0.25 mSec is REALLY 2.5x mSec. I've verrified this
with Datamaster (and the fact that the car runs rich haha).

BUG #2: The third sensor data display column. That displays spark advance and so on. It flashes like crazy. Not a major problem, but kinda anoying to the eye.. :)

BUG #3: MAP air on sensor data. 1 bar? Weird. But why does it show Vacuum as something completly different? Maybe its not a bug and just
me.

You can't view codes yet huh?

Thanks!

with the exception of #2, there aren't bugs in the software, but in the aldl datastream definiiton.

if you'd like to fix it (since i dont have access to a car to test it with), i'd be much appreciative... especially if you'd send me the resulting file.

#2 is a known issue, and I can't quite figure out why its happening... but i'll try. =) I know its an issue with the slower computers and not so much the faster ones.

The weird refresh thing was on a P233mhz laptop I used.. I tried it on my P4 doing playback, and it does the same thing.

Looks like whatever loop you call to draw those lines is relooping too much.

Good stuff though.. I really dig it.

Ok,

I fixed the Base BPW and Async BPW display.

I also added all the malfunction codes.

Please distribute.
