Obscure little bug...but annoying

Post by jeepguy553 »

WinXP, AutoPROM V1.08, module AutoPROM I/O
This gets me every time...
I load a BIN into the buffer and click the Program Chip button. Error: (Something like Device memory exceeded...)
I figured it out. The I/O module defaults to a chip end address of $EFFF. I start progremming a chip at $7000 and my end address is $7FFF. I go in and change the E to a 7 and it works perfectly. :D

the start and end addresses are "adjusted" automatically when you adjust the chip size, start address and end address of the source and dest. buffers.

play with the addressing and you'll see what I mean.
