Reading chips - Newb Q

Post by Joel »

Hey guys,
Last weekend was a monumental day in my life....With the help of a good friend we were able to get my car running (new engine) last weekend for the first time in 5.5 years!
My buddy burned a basic tune for the car using his power programmer II and I think tuner cat. Anyways, I've got an LC-1 WB O2 on the way and would like to start doing some fine tuning myself now. I've got the Moates AUP1 USB version along with Tuner Pro RT.
The car is '92 Z using the 730, AUJP, 8D.
My hangup has been trying to read the current burned chip (it's a 27SF512) so I can start to modify it a bit and then begin to emulate and do some runs. Are there any step by step instructions to get me going?
I REALLY appreciate it!
