Broke My Definition File?

Post by XantheFIN »

Hello,

I have this problem AGAIN so i am now asking this whats wrong. I'll explain via pictures because i am lazy.

(Last time i rebuild definition file but i wanna know whats wrong.. i ended up this when i copy&pasted because i wanted change order of those functions and it messed things again)

I open TunerPRO and want add missing things to that Table.

ISC Airflow Multiplier Scaler for Time
ISC Airflow Multiplier Scaler for ECT

I added things and saved and want close TunerPRO...

Surprise when i open next time TunerPRO..

Definition.xdf
ECU *.BIN

ISC Airflow Table Same thing except it shows zeros.

I tested now on XP Laptop and it keeps happening. What is wrong?

Was i too mean? Was this user error?

P.S. I start rebuild from when things was not broken.. Need make backups more often.

Hi!

*.BIN back online..

uniqueid="0x1112" - If you think there is my error but it was me after this happened. Trying different things. But i did come over this by little rebuilding after all and not trying move things by copy&pasting (functions or Tables) inside TunerPro program.

It happened before and stayed mystery for me.

I can reproduce the issue, and will fix it for the next build. Your definition is not ruined when you run into this, from what I can tell. I'm not sure why you had to rebuild it.

I'll let you know when I've got a fix.

I neglected to update this thread - this issue is fixed in the latest build. The fix is temporary, and comes at the cost of the amount of time it takes to load an XDF (noticeable only with large XDFs). I'll implement a more robust fix soon, which should actually improve performance beyond that of the pre-fix performance.
