First off, do you still need that cable connected to the port, or can TunerPro aquire the ALDL stream through the Prominator cable? Also, with the cable connected, it detacts the ALDL connection, but will not display anything. I am using the 7747 $42 defination. I have no problems using WinALDL but I can't get TunerPro and my Prominator to talk to each other when trying to use the ALDL feature.
What am I doing worng, or not doing correctly? Thanks.

You need an ALDL cable to connect to the ALDL stream. The Prominator is only for the "chip". TunerPro cannot connect to the ALDL stream through the Prominator.
TunerPro does not detect ALDL cables. You need to set it up correctly the ALDL preferences to use the correct port and type (MAX232).
You then need to open the correct ADS for your truck. There is a '7747 ADS file available on the TunerPro site:
