Null bin file name not in title bar

Post by dfddfd2 »

When a bin that contains all nulls (0x00) is opened, the title bar isn't updated with the name of the bin file.

Thanks,
Dave

I've just opened a 32k bin file full of null data without a problem so I don't think it's the null data that's the issue.

Have you tried a different xdf?

Thanks for trying that dex, but I don't think the XDF should have anything to do with it. You should be able to open any bin before opening an XDF, right?
The bin size is the same as in the XDF I had loaded.

I can open any bin apart from one with only null data in it when there's no xdf loaded.

Maybe TP is being smart :D

Just as I thought, however TP shouldn't judge weather to load a bin based on its contents.

Actually, it opens a NULL bin just fine. It just doesn't update the title bar to reflect that the bin is open. Verify by opening the hex viewer.
