aem wideband vs. 02 readings

Post by rjnelson1975 »

I am getting conflicting readings between my aem wb gauge and the 02 readings from the tpi ecm. My blm's are from 120 to 124 at cruise but my aem wideband is showing 16-17 afr. The engine is running fine. Is the wideband messed-up? Bad sensor for the wideband? I have the tpi 02 sensor mounted two feet closer to the exhaust manifold than the wideband, could this be the problem? No cat in the system.

honestly, it could be either that's causing the problem.

does your wideband controller support outputting a simulated narrowband O2 signal?

Does that wide band need a free air calibration?
