calculate formula to relate fuel pressure volts to PSI data

Post by pbusanga »

VOLTS , PSI
0.5 , 0
1.2 , 10
1.65 , 20
2.2 , 30
2.75 , 40
3.45, 50
3.9 , 60
4.6 , 70

given this data can anyone derive the formula relating v to PSI i calculated the correlation which is 0.998930946 so there is very close relationship between these numbers

This should get you close
(V-0.5) * 17.5 = PSI

Using the above formula will get the following:
0.5v=0psi
1.2v=12.2psi
1.65v=20.1psi
2.2v=29.7psi
2.75v=39.3psi
3.45v=51.6psi
3.9v=59.5psi
4.6v=71.7psi

should you come across non-linear or otherwise difficult conversions to calculate an equation for, you can always punch them into a lookup table and have tunerpro interpolate the values.
