Has been a long time, but as far as I remember there are two ways: Use the software of the non Immo version or give it the right input on the specific pin with a relais that is activated by ignition on. The checksum is no problem, as it will only leave the check engine light on for 20 seconds instea...

No, sure not. You have to put a little own work in this specific ECU. This is very easy now, compared to what we had on tools and information about it a few years ago… But the principle the Weber ECU´s work on is similar on all versions. So all what you have to do, is to look at the XDF file for the...

If you found and identified a map in WinOLS for example, you create a definition file (XDF) for TunerPro. Best is to use existing XDF´s and modify them to fit your maps. For most aspirated cars, fuel and ignition maps are enough to tune, maybe the RPM limiter is useful. The last is not easy to ident...

Hi!

If you have for example 0.7 volt closed and 4.7 volt with the butterfly open and want %, you have to convert it with some formula like:

(value-0.7) x 100 / (0.7-4.7)

So you have to insert the actual voltage at you installation for a correct result.

Hi! This is very simple: First you buy a basic software. Then you buy the add ons and plug ins for your special family of ECU´s. Now you pay for the special hardware, that gives you access to the ECU. Last you buy a DAMOS file that contains the addresses of the certain engines data. Modern cars have...

There are many modern ECU´s that read the EPROM’s content when ignition is turned on, store it in the processors RAM and constantly modify it there. The burned EPROM is a very solid way to store data, but, to today’s processors, very slow. Of course these are not sensitive to changes that are made i...

Hi! The Ford Cosworth Weber P8 continiously sents its data to the output where it can be read. The hardware to adapt it to RS232 or a USB port is not very complicated. The protocol is different to OBD. Can this be recorded in Tunerpro´s ALDL ? Anyone done that? Would be of great help. Thanks, Chris
