Re: DME 413 (silver) knock correction
Great info here, will look at it today. I am in a long trial and error process, most of the time using the 623 base and slightly changing the ignition angle and fuel (this is mainly why i'm keen to find the knock table). For reference ignition timings I used the ms41 tables’ (with the VANOS correcti...

Re: DME 413 (silver) knock correction
My tests with INPA was with -506 DME's -965 bin, because it's not working with 413 DME's -623 bin. I have no idea why, but if you have emulator, try to run your DME with -965 bin. Hardware is cross-compatible. If it works, the problem is propably in the INPA software. You can cheat it with using -9...

Re: DME 413 (silver) knock correction
Awesome, thanks!
I'm guessing reading that part of memory is only by OBD if so, because it is volatile without voltage.
I tried to get live data using INPA/ADS but no luck /:
Not be able to rewrite the eprom make sense..

Re: DME 413 (silver) knock correction
Thank you! You think it's stored elsewhere then the eprom or the dme can write over it during operation? I am now intrigued to compare the last flash file what I'm using now to see if the dme changed it. If i can do something to help with finding that illusive table I'm up for the task! Faragy9@gmai...

DME 413 (silver) knock correction
Hi,
Dose any one know if the 413 dme is actively correcting the ignition timing in case of knock or the logic of it?
Limp mode/scaled table/nothing...
Also, if so, can we pull out the correction data of the dme?
Thanks.
Yaniv

Hi Thanks evilm3666. Well.. sorry for being anoying but can you point me for the correct one? I looked through the bin's and couldn't find it :/ Also my situations is little bit different, I'm having an e34 (but also a 413 silver DME), is it matter? maybe a different O2 sensors? I have only 1. Regar...

Cool, thanks! you think it will be wise to use my original .bin for that? I kept the m50 manifold, but the volume is different now and so is the air draw. I guess the ignition timing should be offset then, due to the longer (distance/time) stroke and the injector opening time as well (K factor?) Gen...

m52b28 in a 525i e34 - original harness and DME (Silver 413)
Hi gents, Need your professional help regarding the DME map. As on topic, I installed m52b28 (single VANOS) over my 1995 e34 (old engine died  ) but I kept the original harness, sensors, intake and DME, all BOSCH. All is working fine, but not great and it feels like can help little tuneup. I ha...
