Temp display

I just downloaded 4.0RT last night. Been waiting a long time for your 160 baud support!! :D I got everything downloaded and installed. Ran out to the truck and she emulated fine with the romulator and I was able to monitor the ALDL. :D :D :D :D I noticed when I first started the motor I was at 144*C...

Temp

Is the temp on the min coolant temp for closed loop correct?
IIRC the tuner cat has it at 8*C and TunerPro has it at 35*C....

Data stream for 160 baud

Is there a plan to allow 160 baud ALDL monitoring? I have read the FAQ's and the post on the subject, but no real mention of support for the C3's. I'm working with the 7747 and 8746. I have located a file on ftp://ftp.diy-efi.org/uploads/ called "ALDLstuff.zip" that includes the data strea...

Thanks for the refresher. Back in my younger days when I had to learn vacuum tube theory and doping of PN junctions, I learned all that hex and binary and gray coded binary and octal. But you get older and just don't use it much. So your right I need to get back into it. These windows programs just ...

To be honest, I did not pay attention to the address. I "assumed" it defaulted to the address of the selected ecu. $42- 2732- 4K. I haven't really dealt with the hex addresses since it wasn't really needed in TC or winbin or even GMECM. So for the 4k bin what address should I use to save t...

Re: Some Suggestions.

* When I hit [DEL] (happen all the time) an ECU item is removed. This is usually the item you are editing at the time. If you then save that table it will be all zero in the bin. This is something I don't like at all. At least promt yes/no before deleting the ECU item. Thanks for a great program! T...

Rom to File

I finally got to try out the RT emulation. It appears to be working with the 7747.ecu file. Other than not being able to use the ALDL I ran into a problem when I used the Rom to File button. It seems to only save in the $6E format and not the default that is being used, $42. When I saved it then try...

TP R/T

Just got the RT downloaded to try out with the romulator.
Hit the tool button and selected emulation. Found a nice freudian slip.
IniTITialize Emulator.
Thanks.

ALDL DEF?

What is an ALDL definition file and where can I get it or how can I make one for the 7747.
I was using TC/RT and Winaldl to monitor while I drive and tune.
I like the idea of having one program do both.

thanks,
