Is there a datalogging file for the $EE strategy(94-95LT1)?
I know you guys recently fixed the checksum issue with $EE and am now wondering if a datalogging file (.ads I think) is available. I tried a search but those files are listed by PCM# and I don't know mine. How hard is it to get to the PCM on a B-body?, I know it's under the battery but that's all I ...

.adx to .ads?
I noticed you posted a data stream def (.adx) for 9495LT1 $EE on Scanerpro, does this, or could this work as a aldl def (.ads) file for tunnerpro?
If so could you describe the procedure so that a non geek could do it.
Thanks, I know your busy

I have a 94-94 LT1 capprice $EE strategy, I thought this type of ECU is the only one that does not require a burner. My main issue is not frying the ECU, I know there are posts on here about it but they offer several solutions ( changing the checksum, changing the mask ID to AA, getting the fixed de...

95 Caprice $EE strategy, Tunerpro and ALDL cable is the setup I want to use, still have not bought the cable just playing with the software and reading posts. Does one checksum change work for all $EE ECU's (I actually have the L99 4.3 but have heard they use the same strategy)? I don't want to make...

How do I (a laymen) change the mask ID byte from $EE to $AA?
I have looked at a million posts with the bad checksum issue and I don't know how you guys are changing the mask ID byte. I am also worry of just changing the $EE checksum because this doesn't always seem to fix the problem and if there is a way to fry my ECU I am guaranteed to find it. A step by st...

Thanks Dex, I felt like a dumbass after I looked at it again and realized it had to apply to different table alt(altitude/BP). I always have brain farts first thing in the morning looking at tuning software, however I did not realize the interaction of both tables that you just mentioned. Is there a...

EGR multiplier set to 0 on stock tune
I was looking around in my DA1(86-88) ford 5.0 SD tune and under EGR multiplier VS BP(I assume barometric pressure), it has a 0 value from 32-28 then shoots up to .9 or so, The scale runs from 32-0 like all other BP scales I have seen in tuning software. Wouldn't this turn off the EGR under almost a...

base fuel map only for warm up?
I was looking through the functions of my DA1 file and the base fuel map had a comment on it that said only for ect's less than 120 with warm HEGO. This file that I'm trying to learn how to tune is 86-88 SD 5.0 EEC-IV and the function in question is the only fuel map listed. If this doesn't tune the...

Is tweecer a cousin of tunerpro?
Being that the xdf can be made to fit a tweecer by pulling out the padding, were the two programs developed by the same people?

Need info for the DA1 XDF
I posted a question in the general tuning questions section, but later realized this forum would have been more suited. My problem is the lack of table defs in the DA1.xdf on the moates.net site is there any out there more complete maybe I have a bad download the only items I have labeled are base f...

Trying to make use of the DA1.xdf on moates.net
I am trying to tune a speed density mustang computer DA1. I have down loaded the bin and xdf and the tables that are labeled are limited to fuel, accel enrich, timing 1,timing 2 and timing 3, my question is could the xdf file be bad or is it most likely just incomplete. The changes I need to make are ...
