Data Aquisition???

Has anyone sucessfully done DA with their Ducatis on TunerPro? Is it even possible? Does TPro talk through kkl 4.09 (p8-p7-etc) I heard some of the fiat/cosworth guys have done it with p8 ? I'd love to build a dash!

Check the xdf offset in header is correct. Also look at the bin in 2D/3D window to make sure the table addresses are correct. I've had to change these from the guzzi xdfs as the ducatis are a little different.

Modified P8 xdf

Here you go, getting the ball rolling. I eliminated the $8000 address buffer and changed the addresses from F*** to 7*** to more accurately reflect whats on the .bins. Also added what I believe to be the air temp/ignition trim? But needs to be verified by some experts. Also added various labels to t...

Thanks Robert,
The xdf I was using did ,in fact, have an 8000 offset. I removed it, switched all the addresses in the parameters from F*** to 7*** and now the addresses in the graph viewer match! I was beginning to think F = 7! Thanks for clarifying!

I'm running it on VirtualPC on an old Powerbook ppc!
Works great! I don't have any hardware connected, just edit my maps and burn the new chips all on Vpc! I would think it would run on bootcamp/parallels as well since Im actually emulating win xp and those would be running it natively?

Translating addresses?

Hello! I found the addresses on the bin file for the fuel, ignition maps but I don't know how to translate them into something useful in the xdf parameters? For example, 7000 address on the bin is 0xF000 in the xdf parameter? 0xF040 is 7040 on the bin files address? If I type in the address as is on...

P8 xdf!

Greetings! I found P8/7 xdfs on the guzzidiag site. The p8 seems correct except the fuel/air/temp trims are missing. Fuel and ignition maps are fine so you can tune away! The p7 xdf did not work for me, so may need help. They can be found at the bottom of this webpage. http://www.von-der-salierburg....
