Whats that 200179? Is it for the M30B35? I´ve heard that one is very similar to the M20B25...so maybe you can compare the tables? furthermore, did you reduce the lambda-regulation-value from 128 down to 127 or 126 or even lower? I think revlimit once said to reduce that value down to 50 or even 0 to...

Yes, the map location indicators, that´s it. I only knew abot the so called descriptors which tell you what kind of map or what kind of axis-values you have here, so one was able to find ignition tables, for example. There are some descriptors shown somewhere in the www, but I haven´t found out, how...

Well, whenn applying MAF conversions and adjust values correctamente , you should first go and search the output-parameters for old and new sensor. Example for a new bosch-maf: http://rb-aa.bosch.com/boaasocs/index.jsp;jsessionid=85D92630D66DE1E053C6DB8D276425D4?ccat_id=72&prod_id=340 See the cu...

General Results: In the head of a bin file there are values ("Variantencodierung" or variant codes) which give a hint to what model the DME is for, e.g. Cabrio, Automatic, E34-Chassis... These values define where to find the specific tables, e.g. fuelling&ignition tables-> thats why t...

Also I would like to know the parameter units . Example I: The XDF doesn´t show every unit for every axis. Although I know, that spark table usually is rpm vs. load (kPa=throttle position) and values are spark advance [° BTDC] i am missing some units for AFR or other maps. Example II: Revlimits are,...

General Parameter Definition

Hi there, as a newbie I am having trouble to understand the parameters in TunerPro. Is there a definition of the shown parameters and values ??? I am trying to understand the "stock 173 bin" with "BMW_M20B25_ecu173_sw705" XDF and there are some issues: Example 1: With the above m...

Hey hlr, see you´ve done more searchings&findings than I´ve done...currently ;-)
Do you know where to find the lambda-off value for open loop? Must be at WOT-starting point, or am I totally wrong???
Regards
B.

There is one here in the Download section for E30 M42B18:

"BMW_175_318i_soft378.xdf"

and two for E36:

"BMWdme282Chip626.xdf"
"BMW_990_318i_soft070.xdf"

Where is the difference?
Of course, DME 282/990, but I thought, the engine was the same so is the DME???

It´s an old thread, but: I thought, the chip provides the maps the DME reads. So if the DME is the 175, every chip must use the same adresses to let the DME find them...? Or are there different 175??? Can´t imagine that...perhaps for E30 and E36??? And: I only found one 175-File, where did you get t...
