That link sounds just exactly what I am running into
Makes perfect sense with the A9P in it now and running fine.
We had the A9L in it, tuning on it.
Thanks Dex

Sorry it took so long to get back, I was on vacation last week. Voltage checks out fine. The son bought a recon ECM and we put it in yesterday. The car runs like a champ! We had to increase the idle a bit since we have the 75mm TB in it. I really have no idea why the thing went screwy on us. I alway...

Maybe I messed up with the padding of the files. When you pad one, you open the bin stacker. Set the chip size, which I picked 64k Set the block size the same, 64k Set the bin size to the sctual size of the unpadded bin, 56k Mode is Stack picked the input file and the out put files. Stacked it, work...

90 5.0 has taken a dump, need HELP!
Guys, see if you can help me with this one. Had a A9L ECM in my son's 1990 5.0 LX Been tuning on it for a few months. Getting better and better. My son had a passenger in the car and it seems that he semi-unplugged the Ostrich as the car was running. Car would not crank back up. Tried loading the tu...

A9P Spark Table
Does anyone possibly have a spark table they have played with? I have the stock one in the car now. I had a A9L ECM die on me. AND, somehow my files I had for the A9L lost their padding. In my ignorance I tried to pad them using another program other than TunerPro and messed them all up Mark showed ...

Padding Bins
Someone has already done this probably. But how do you Pad a bin? I have the Hex editor program My files in TunerPro seem to have lost all of the padding that were in them. How? I don't know Dex has been kind enough to pad one for me but I have over twelve files that need to be done. I am no IT guy ...

A9L,GUFB. Looking at the table vs the graph. Graph is not smooth, peakes and valleys. If I am to make sure I understand what I am doing, the lower part of the Graph, which is in Blue, dictates rich? The red at the top would be Lean? Would a smooth flow of the graph be a benifit? Also, Moving the gra...

Harness extentions or a break out box
Has anyone come across a harness extention for a Ford OBD1 ECM? I sure would like to have my ECM box with the harness about 2 foot longer than it is. If you take the ECM out of the old Fox body cars, it's just long enough to lay flat on the floor. It makes it real hard to try and make a breakout for...

Running my son's 90 LX 5.0 We installed a new 75mm Throttle body this week so we wanted to see what we would get. I had the LM-1 attached last night for the first real test. Using Lamda, it looks like we are correct on the fuel. After the run he wanted to take the LM-1 off, why I don't know. I had t...

Installed the 75mm TB last night. Had a major distance problem with the linkage. EGR delete plate that holds the throttle linkage is way too close and hits the hard line coolant tube. Installed it with the old EGR plate and hooked everything up. Reconnected the battery, fired it right up! Good idle....

New 75mm Throttle Body
Got a new BBK 75mm TB in today for the 91 5.0 I also bought the spacer to delete the EGR. I have heard that I will need to change the idle set up a bit but that the ECM should compensate for the larger TB all by it's self. Question is, should I go back the the original tune for the adaptive learning...

New AFR tool shows up my Bad Tune
Well, hooked up the LM-1 in my Jag with the 95 LT1 in it. At cruise it was looking at high teens, now at idle, totally different. It's in the high 30's. I have a padded Bin of 64k

Xdf is GUFB
I just noticed that the Bin Size and Base offsets do not match
If I have padded the Bin to 64k
What should be the Base offset?
Also should I subtract it?
