ok all sorted ! DASH working fine..was my bad, didnt understand the process correctly in scannerpro...live and learn thats what forums all about

Are you trying to add a new gauge or change the item that appears in an existing gauge? In ScannerPro if you want to change the item that appears in an existing gauge, right click on the gauge and a list of items should appear. What version of ScannerPro do you have? i think i have found problem.. i edited the dash and added some new calculated values (oil pressure etc) but i used TP to do the editing. given this data can anyone derive the formula relating v to PSI i calculated the correlation which is 0.998930946 so there is very close relationship between these numbers

Make sure that you do not have the cable routed near the distributor or any of the spark plug wires. Are you using a true serial cable or the USB cable from MEFIBurn? If it was me, I would just power the fuel pump using the prime port or jumper in the relay socket, much easier than plugging in a computer to do such a simple task. yes! good suggestion ! just thought there was simple way to activate from poot as i would have it plugged in anyway for diagnostic pur...

one way to estimate fuel usage would be to take the GPH reading, average it(can be done with the histograms, then multiply it by the amount of time the engine has been running(done in hours to make the conversion easy). avg 5 GPH over a 2 hour period = 10 gallons used it's obviously not automatic, ...
