Re: XDF and ADS for $5C
I could abandon the 7749 and go to an 7165 and run the code for an Aussie 4 cyl (AMXX or AMXY code mask $5D) ,but these are for TBI setups I think.
Bignut, the $5D was only used in PFI mode although it does support TBI.

Mazda RX7 definition??

Does anyone have any experience tuning an RX7 series 6 (FD) or know if it's possible with exception to using an expensive Apexi ECU??
I've scoured the net and haven't been able to come up with any DIY type solution.
Any ideas???

Cheers,
Adrian

I think I might have a definition file somewhere for the 1.7 injected Lada you have. Give me a few days and I'll have a look for it. I think it's pretty basic with mainily just the fuel and spark maps but it might help. If I don't get back to you in a week with something give me a reminder Cheers, A...

Ben, I've seen this swap done 2 or 3 times and don't remember any problems with the speed input using D2.
Is the CEL reporting the speed error or is there a possible problem with the ADS your using??

I have some conflicting info but I'm pretty sure 3817 bit 0 is the manual trans option flag Set it to true for the manual trans and it should eliminate your fault codes. From memory when manual trans flag is set the speed input is taken from the hall input and not the inductive so you'll have to rep...

Ostrich and 128k chips

I think I might have asked about this some time back but is there any outlook on when Tunerpro might support 128k chips (27C010) on an Ostrich??

Steve I mentioned this problem some time ago here http://www.supportfitness.com/tunerproforum/viewtopic.php?t=2 but I don't think there was any resolution except for manually calculating the checksum. I've used the XDF you're using many times with no problems when inserting AA to KKKPGMID...

I Know this suggestion is old but I now have a furthur suggestion related to checksums. Some of the '90s GM codes(AU) use multiple checksums (I've seen up to 3) with the final saved checksum being the sum of these checksums. Is this a possibility?? Seeing I'm the only one asking for these weird thin...

Editing tables in HEX mode

Having a problem with version4 when editing a table in HEX mode.

I can't seem to to be able to type an "A" or a "C", they seem to be filtered out somehow.
The problem seems to be only in the tables section.
Installed the latest build but has the same problem

Please ignore me if this has been suggested before, but is there any thought of interfacing the program with the Xtronics Romulator, ala Tunercat?

P.S Keep up the good work, I don't know how you find the time!!

Help field

Just wondered if the you will be implementing the help field in the near future. Don't know if it's any help but when I create an ECU file I generally put any details about the constant between the constant name and the opening brace. WinBin (and GMECM Edit) seems to ignore anything in this area, so...

Checksum Calculation

Some GM codes ($11 for example) have the checksum in an odd location. The area the checksum is calculated on is from 5000 to FFFF but excluding 6000 to 6007, with the checksum located at 6006 & 6007.
Is there any way of incorporating this into your program
