Re: KTM TPI Continental Synerject M3C
Here's the Continental M3C module for the Bitbox application: https://www.remaptools.com/product-category/software-tools/bitedit/extreme-vehicles/ And a J2534 adapter: http://www.dashlogic.com/dashbridge_cx Should be all anyone needs to reflash the TPi Husky's and KTM's. Should work with some Ducati...

Re: Hardware and software options to read/write .bin files
And these guys seem to have taken over the openecu.org project. A lot of coverage for Subaru and Mitsubishi vehicles with a free/open source tuning application and their own J2534 interface:

Re: I can't get my laptop to connect with the ECM
Well, if you haven't figured this out by now, I will share a new problem that's cropped up with Windows 10 recently. Apparently this was brought about by a security patch for Windows 10. I have a HP Tuner with the User Defined Parameter option upgrade, and a RaceMe/Warp Tuning setup for my Dodge die...

Re: Hardware and software options to read/write .bin files
So, looks like there's some other hardware/software options. I haven't downloaded any of this software to play with it yet, but soon...

Hardware and software options to read/write .bin files
So, I know there's a lot of options as far as read/write hardware and software, and a lot of it depends on what you're working on. Right now, I have a Continental M3C ECU that I need to read and write .bin files. Looks like my only "off the shelf" option is sold by Bitbox and using a J2534...

Re: KTM TPI Continental Synerject M3C
I believe this should be the correct cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z6QSD2L/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A16Z04TPX4IDWD&psc=1 And, If I'm not mistaken, a ELM327 based pass through device from any reputable seller should work between the OBD2 adapter cable and computer. If I'm wrong, s...

Re: KTM TPI Continental Synerject M3C
I have a 2020 TE150i. I'm waiting for my adapter cable to show up. I have a pass-through on the way from http://obd2allinone.com/. I also got the .bin and .xdf files from oldskull. As soon as I get everything together, I need to pull the stock tune off the bike and see if it's any different. I'll be...

Re: Which version of Windows?
W7 isn't supported anymore by Microsoft. Windows 8 and 8.1 suck. Windows 10 is probably what you want to use, and in a computer that isn't more than 10 years old. If you are loading your own OS on your computer, Get windows 10 Pro or Enterprise editions.

Re: Laptop options
Any Dell laptop. The Dell Precision M6600 is a great laptop and you can pick them up on eBay for reasonable prices. But they are BIG (if you like a full size keyboard and big screen). I have one setup on a docking station with two monitors and run SolidWorks CAD application on it. If you want someth...

Re: Complete newbie. Hardware required? Vehicle compatibility?
Ok. I'm gonna bump this since it's only a year old... I've read though the TunerPro users guide and understand it... mostly. The one part that's a bit ambiguous is how to extract a stock, OEM .bin file from an an installed ECU assuming it uses the standard OBD2 interface. I have a pass through devic...
